Our Beautiful McKenzie Valley
a TeenARTS project

Five McKenzie area teens spent July 2004 learning porcelain art techniques with artist Heidi Mitchell. The resulting artwork, on porcelain tiles and plates, is entitled Our Beautiful McKenzie Valley.
Their work will be permanently displayed at the McKenzie School District.

This was a collaborative effort among YouthArts, a program of Lane Arts Council, Heidi Mitchell, McKenzie School District, McKenzie Ranger District, McKenzie Watershed Council, and McKenzie Arts Forum. Supported by U.S. Bank/U.S. Bancorp Foundation, Title III Secure Rural Schools fund through the Board of Lane County Commissioners, and McKenzie Watershed Council.
