Fine arts: My subjects are diverse, I paint dancers, musicians, and singers of the Swing/Jazz era, wildlife, tropical themes, landscapes, seascapes, skyscapes, and portraits. My style is a fusion of realistic and impressionistic influences by the Art Nouveau, Art Deco, California plein air movements of the 1920's, as well Film Noir, Chinese brush painting, and classic western masters. Medium: Mostly acrylics, but also oils, pastels, watercolors, and inks. I began painting as a child and started my formal training at age 9.
